Curry puffs

Curry puffs Recipe
Items needed for curry - I am using potato curry here, any dry curry can be used.
1. Boiled potatoes with skin removed about 4 in number. Crush the same into small lumps
2. 1 medium onion finely chopped
3. 2 or 3 green chillies finely chopped
4. Mustard seed, cumin seeds- 1 tea spoon each
5. Channa dal(split peas dal), split black gram dal without skin- 1 tea spoon each
6. Salt as per taste
7. Pinch of turmeric
8. Oil - 2 tbsp
Method :
1. Take a sauce pan/ wok and put oil
2. Add mustard seeds. When they splutter, add cumin,Channa dal, black gram dal.Fry for few seconds
3. Add the chillies, saute for a min,then add the onions and fry till they are translucent.
4. Add salt, turmeric and mix well.
5. Add crushed boiled potatoes, and mix well. Fry for another 2 mins. Take it off from the flame and allow to cool

Making Curry puffs :
Items needed :-

1. Pastry sheets
2. Baking tray

Method :
1. Cut pastry sheet into rectangles,about 5-6 pieces from a single sheet.
2. Place some curry in 1 pastry shEet piece and seal the edges to make a pocket. Repeat the same for all the other pieces.
3. preheat the oven 200 degrees. Place all the pockets made above on a greased baking tray . Bake for about 15 - 20 mins . R
4. Remove and set aside for couple of mins. Serve with tomato sauce
